I am getting redy to take body shop classes, If all goes as planned, I will be stripping the whole car completely, and giving it a fresh paint job. I think I might paint it misty beige metallic, like the factory paint it has now. What do you guys think ? I know the pic quality sucks, But from what you can see,
Do you think my car has potential, Or should I sell it and find one that is mint?
Oh yeah, dig the tint !

Considering you're missing pieces and the car isn't in that good of shape, I think it'd be a better idea to just find one that was mint. Heck, you could even find an SEi. Unless of course you're planning to become a dude who works at a bodyshop, then I could see the reasoning....

It appears to have fared well externally. Like mentioned above, replace the rub strips (or perhaps shave them all together if you want more bodywork practice). I can't see any visible rust in the common troublespots (rear quarter panels and underneath the rear tail lights). It is FI, so you have a good start in the engine department. I'd say she's a keeper if the engine and transmission are in good condition. Just my $.02

It did have slight rust at the rear wheel well upper corners, near the bumper,
I sanded it and put some rust converter on it. The engine runs very good,
Compression test gave about 130 psi on cyl 1, 2, and 3, Cyl 4 gave 150psi.
When I first bought it, the tranny was slipping and would hardly shift to 2nd.
I replaced it with a good working tranny, So Mechanically, It is good to go.
I was thinking about doing a suspension restoration when the money is right.
