87 Carbed PCV Valve

I bought another 3gee accord but this one is carbed. I don't know much about this carbed intake. My 89 is fuel injected. The problem I am having is servicing the PCV valve. I found it in the intake. I pulled the hose off the top of it. I tried and TRIED to pull it out and I couldn't. I was able to twist it around and around but couldn't get it out. Is there a trick to it? I thought my fuel injected engine had alot of crap on it. Shit, this carbed crap is crazy. I may change it to fuel injection but until then I need to change the pcv valve.

just pull straight up. it's tight cause the seal around the PCV valve had hardned and dried out. It may crack... then you'll either have broken PCV in the hose or broken hose around the PCV
