Ive had some thought the past few days, and I may be considering selling my 3g. I love her to death but I feel I am ready to move onto a new vehicle. She is a 1986 Honda Accord LX-I HB 2.0L PGM-FI. She has 2 dents and a few rust spots. All fenderwells are in great shape and the car has 35,000 Original Miles to this day. At the moment I am looking for suggestions on a price to let her go at. I would like to get what I put into it. It has brand new cv axles both front and rear, new rack and pinions. Just had a tune up and oil change less than 120 miles ago. The interior is beautiful. Great beginner car. Just keep in mind I am looking for suggestions on what to sell her at. I might throw her on ebay or sell it on the board and post it up around town.

The only significant damage in my opinion is the front bumber, the pain has begun chipping away, which I will sand and spray black if someone wants it black, but I figure someone will want to change it out. I might have some clear turn signals for the front too.

Well I cannot find an old pic of the miles and my cam is broke, but if anyone remembers it was posted before at like 31K. As soon as I get a new cam this week I will take a new pic and show proof of low original miles.

If someone is wanting an standard, I might be able to have a rebuilt tranny with harness etc and a pedal and some of the cables needed.

I'd say 3k, with that mileage it shouldn't be a problem.

Well, I have given it some thought and everyone is right. I was at the used car lot yesterday browsing, and i happened to see a 3g sittin there for 1200.00 It has 210K Miles, wasnt in bad shape, but it made me realize If I want a new car, I should keep my 3g anyways. After talking with my dad, Ive decidedto keep the 3g, and keep it as a project car. I am going to keep low miles on it, fix the few minor rust spots and diings and repaint it white. Im planning on getting my cousins 4g with 130K miles for 1000.00 and starting from there. Thanks again for all the suggestions, it helped out alot. Stay tuned trhis summer, around tthe end of may, I plan on doing the transmission swap full of pictures.

Wanna sell your rims? LOL anyways yeah as my friends mom said, "Why sell something you own when you might need it to fall back on." Which is true. Good luck on the swap and love your 3g. ^_^

Keepin her is the right decision. I almost sold mine once but finally regained my senses. I want to put my SE-i back to original condition. I am going to get the rust fixed on the rear quarters and the body will be good. No other rust or dings. I need to redo my leather interior but don't want to spend $1000 to get them recovered.
