so uh... i was thinking

-why bother trying to get some 4cyl engine to fit in my car... why not go for something a little more awsome.

-V6 maybe?

-hell, why not just cut the whole rear end off an NSX(R?) and mount it in the back seat?

-maybe a carbon hood/bootlid, and some of those flat black Spoon wheels on top of that

-yyeeaa the first MR, V6, '89 Accord LX-i, VTech, with a 6 speed...
i can dream, can't i?

(im gonna photoshop all this one of these days)

What will a photoshop do. Unless you know the scale of the motor and the cars in question it wont represent the actual swap.

Some members have brought up the NSX engine idea.. but getting your hands on a cheap NSX motor with ecu and everyting may get Pricy $$$$.

i've seen pix of a legend v6 in the engine bay of a 3g. i think that it's a c27, the same family as the nsx engines. which have either a c30 or c32, depending on which year. but i don't anything about the mounting points and all that stuff. check out this thread.

ok, so i finished the Photoshop project and i think its quite accurate

http://img335.imageshack.us/img335/1873/accordtyper8lv.jpg (http://imageshack.us)

-Notice the smoke coming off ther rear wheels, This clearly indicates the car is rear wheel drive.

-Also notice the 'Type R' sticker, this shows that the engine is obviously a Honda Type R motor (because no one would put a Type R sticker on their car if it wasn't a type r, right?)

-As you can see: i have a huge grin on my face indicating the car is fast as hell...

now i belive this picture is extreamly acurate (notice the lack of girls!)
I had some fun making this. Try not to take it too seriously and i hope you get a good laugh or two out of it

Cheers!

now ither your just being a smartass, or you dont understand how hard it would be to do what your talking about for one. The money you would spend on doing a project, you could buy something worth the money. BUT, if you do spend the money...POST PICS! lol. I think you would capture the attention of many. lol. GL...great drawing btw lol....but your missing the 3geez sticker

aw damn, i left that out...

dont get me wrong, i understand what a monster of a project this would be and i'd never attempt it (atleast not with my pay as it is lol)

but i've always thought that would be THE ULTIAMITE swap, yea?

i can dream...

cheers

oh good heavens. there's no "h", my friend. it stands for Variable Valve Timing and Electronic Lift Control which honda likes to shorten to VTEC (and actually a few other abbreviations, depending on what type it is).

yeah i was going to say, you do realize its Vtec, not VTech, no tech about Vtec. and the idea is cool, but rediculous for anyone that doesnt want to spend a good $50k. and yeah, keep dreaming. think of something along the lines of 2 liters and fwd. thats where i draw the line on swaps for the 3gee.
