ok, so the bumpers on my car look liek they got white "paint" on the top or "natural" bumper color trim , i have reason to believe this is old dried up polishing compound , ive tried mothers back to black but it wont take it off , i think from the sun it is cooked onto the bumper surface. ok so anyone know anything else that might take it off without dystroying the bumper? i was also thinking of trying to rind a semi-gloss black paint , but i dont know any that will hold up if i use mothers back to black to shine it up and also i dont know what paint might hold up to the dum arse gas station attendant getting gas all over the side of my car wehn i get it filled(now im gonna start watching them i hate gas on the side of my car)
ive heard about the fusion paint but im wondering has anyone use a flex bumper paint or such?

I painted my bumpers today with a special bumper coating. They turned out pretty good. I'll post pics when I can...I'll also let you know if the job stands up after a couple of weeks. I did use primer before I painted, so hopefully it will stick.

Epicenter: your car is really nice....I've thought so since I first got here.

I'll be doing a complete base/clear coat sometime this summer. Leaning toward the Gunmetal Gray Metallic right now....Got lots of body work to do first though.
