I purchased an 87 lx accord. I know a little bit about it. The person I bought it from said he had the headgasket replaced years ago. There is a place where the headgasket sticks out from the block. I looked at it and it is three solid pieces of steel like my 98 civic has. I haven't pulled the head because it doesn't need it. I was just wondering what the deal is. My 89 accord lxi had the OEM headgasket on it (as far as I know, car came with all records) and it was a composite head gasket. Does anybody know anything about this?
