Mods, the pics in the bumper how-to are missing.....

If anybody's interested in removing their front bumper, I took some pics that might help. It's easier to remove the cover and metal behind the cover, as has been said.

You'll need:
1. long-shafted Philips head screwdriver to remove the bumper lights.
2. socket extension for your 12mm socket to reach the bumper attachment bolts.

First remove the front bumper lights to get to the bumper attachment bolts.

There are a total of 4 bolts that hold on the bumper to the frame. There also 2 bolts that hold the plastic bumper cover on the bottom.

This is the bumper guide slot inside each end of the bumper cover. It keeps the ends of the bumper in place.

Here's the guide that the slot fits over. No need to ever remove this. The bumper cover simply slides over it.

Presto, bumper removed! Be careful, it weighs about 30 pounds.
