After being here for 2 and 1/2 years (actually longer, since i didnt sign up until 2 months after i found the site), i feel that i should show my car.
The car is a Japan built Laurel Blue 1989 Accord LX with 115,382 miles(at the time of this post). The car was purchased by my parents on September 7, 1989 and delivered on September 9, 1989 to Kraftfahrzeug Handels GMBH Auto Exchange in Germany(according to the Owner's Manual). The interior and engine are immaculate. I will try to post pics of the inside later. The only problems concerning the outside are the dent seen in the last pic on the drivers side rear door, the "bubbly" purple tint on the rear window, and a couple of small dings here and there. Overall its in really good shape for a 17 year old car.

thanks again...the side skirts are made by Kaminari and the front and rear air dam are made by Xenon.

The phone is actually my dads, but anyways i think the camera is 1.3 megapixels, so i was amazed when the picture came out as clear as it did. Its the original RAZR V3.

I've thought about removing the spoiler but i dunno. It'd probably look weird w/o it.

Yes. 3g's were manufactured in 2 locations(maybe even more, but i've never heard of them). Some were U.S. built at the Marysville Plant in Ohio (all coupes, some sedans) and some, like mine, were built at the Sayama plant in Japan. You can tell where yours was built by looking at the vin number. If the first 3 letter are JHM then its Japan built. If they are 1HG, it was built in Ohio.

^^ hahaha ya...

Nice 3g though, I really like the xenon kit, looks so damn clean.... IMO, with a different set of wheels your car would be perfect.

an I can tell you there are differences in the construction methods. My Laurel Blue Accord was also built at Sayama while the SE-i parts car I had was built in the states.

I love your car dude.

Thanks man. Means alot coming from you.
Yea I think it could use a new set of wheels too. Maybe some 17's. The wheels that are on there now have been on there since '92, so they are OLD.

since your parents bought it in germany, did it have the EUDM lights?
before it was delivered to the USA?

No it had the USDM lights when we got the car. They could have ordered the car with the EDM lights and stuff, but because they were in the army, they knew that they would be going back to the U.S. and didnt want to pay to have the car changed to US specs, so they bought it that way. Sorry I didnt make that clear before. My mom liked the amber in the USDM corners, but I didnt so that's why I bought the JDM corners. I'm going to clear the bumper lights too, but i have to figure out what to do with the tail lights.

Yep the spoiler has been on there for 17 years. It was the first thing my parents put on it(that and tint) because they thought the trunk looked too flat without one.
But you think the car has an OG look now. Wait until I put the old skool enkei's on it that my mom bought in Germany. Its gonna look real OG then. All I have to do is fix one of the bent rims and buy some tires, then im set.

looks good. i'm liking the kit. it looks almost like something from the factory.
Thanks. I dont really like cars that are "out there". I want it to look like it was meant to be on the car, not just fabricated from some other model.

I didn't necessarily mean it looked stock.
I meant it was modded when you got it instead of 15 years later like most of our cars.
But now that you mention it, it does look kinda stock, at least to people who aren't members of this website. :)

yay for laurel blue!

A nice touch might to paint that chrome part on the grille black. it definitely changes the tone of the car's front. :) hit me up on aim whenever man!
