I have an 89 LX Sedan and i came across the body kit sold by Erebuni and i noticed the second accord on the list has non-flip up headlights or what they refer to as the J-Spec 3rd Gen accord. I was wondering if it would be possible to make my accord look like the one in the pic. Where i could find the parts and if its even possible?

It's possible... you'll need the front end from the Euro/JDM fixed headlight Accord.

You can use the fixed head light body kit, the difference I think is in the turn signals and the rear exhaust cutout is on the opposite side.

from europe or asia most likly wont find anything in the states
but flip ups are what make are car unique

Just looks like a civic from the front with those jdm/euro fixed lights.

Indeed it does. I do agree with many of the members on this board that the flip-up's make the 3gee stand out in it's era! Rid of that and you take away the uniquness and almost tone down to the level of a 1989 civic front end.

a few years back i had wanted to do the aero headlight conversion that you are talking about from the erebuni site. i found that its going to cost between $1200 to around $3000 for parts and shipping. that was from various places, but i havent had luck find them recently when i've looked. being that the cost of getting the parts is too much for my taste, i've stuck with pop ups. but i'm most likely going to eventually just build my own headlights to fit in where the original pop up headlight lid goes. think of something like the conversion lights for RX-7, older NSX and corvettes. that's what i'm working for. just i havent really had the time or money to try and do it.

89 civics are f***** ugly I would be pissed if ppl mistook my car for a civic thats like calling a chick a dood any way I think the flip ups are evil.........

I always thought it would be funnier than hell to get the JDM front end on an accord and then build up the exteriors of an accord and a civic to look the same. One would just be smaller than the other. People would be like :wtf: when they saw them together.
