So I had to buy a new sunroof since the old one blew off of my car. With that in mind I went to the junkyard. I checked their list before I went in and the sunroof cost $30.00. So in I went. I pulled one sunroof but then took some more time to look around. I found an old integra with a stock equalizer for the stereo still in it. So I pulled that. Then I found an accord with a sunroof and a sunroof wind deflector, and when I got in, it had the same color interior as I needed to replace the slider deal which also broke when my sunroof took flight.
So I pulled that sunroof(the seals were in better condition) and then I took the wind deflector (it's original HONDA product) and the interior sunroof slider piece. All were in really good condition.
When I got back out of said car, I noticed that it had the tinted window trim pieces. I pulled all 4 of them. They were original HONDA products as well. Then I went to find out what all this stuff would cost me.
The lady at the register looked at it all and I told her what all the stuff was. She couldn't find it in the price list so she asked another guy what she should do. He couldn't find it in the price list either so he said, "Uhh, $35 takes all." So I gave him $35 bucks for it all.
Now if we remember, the sunroof alone was $30. That means that for $5 I got:
- Stock Acura Equalizer
- HONDA sunroof wind deflector
- Interior trim slider
- HONDA window tinted trim pieces (4)
I was pretty damn happy with my purchase.
Here's a couple of pics of the stuff.

Damn I paid like $60 for my factory honda window shades. I would like to put in a sunroof in my car (non-electric though)

well the previous owner of his se-i did something retarded with his sunroof and it didnt work, and as he said the slider was broken. i imagine it wasnt secured either. In his other thread, he said he was on the freeway, possibly with his windows down. i imagine it could happen.

in response to those confused about the sunroof, hell yes it's messed up to have that happen. The glass on the sunroof blew out of the metal track that it is secured to. It was held to the car by the rear part of the gasket deal to keep water out is all. Flipped out of it's place and slammed on the top of the car. Scared the shit out of me. Windows were up, I heard some serious wind noise from the sunroof, closed the slider and 30 seconds later or so, the window got sucked out. It sucked.

Damn, that's a nice job getting all that for that cheap.
Trim pieces are always getting bough up quick at my junkyard, so they're expensive.
