I still can't believe nobody has tried this yet, especially since it looks quite good and is a fairly simple install. This particular chin spoiler came from a "10th Anniversary Edition" 93 Accord I found in a junkyard.

I'll write up a howto on it later tonight or tomorrow, but for now here's the pics.

The bumper done and on the porch, this was a hard picture to snap.

My poor car just woke up. She hasn't had a chance to put her face on yet, lol.

A shot from the front once the bumper was re-installed.

A zoomed out shot to get a better perspective. You can see my buddy's Civic in the background. We're installing some new headers on it next week.

Just a shot with the lights down. I usually keep them up because they look so bad down. I sure wish I was better with bodywork :\

A shot of my interior in the daytime, you can see it much better now.

My lip isn't the only spoiler I have from a 93 Accord

And just for some frame of reference here's the car when I got it.

mentalhouse.org it's my film company

it's going whenever I sand and prime my car in a few weeks. As for dropping it, remember it's a sedan sitting on 13" rims, that's why it looks so funny. I'm getting some 15" rally wheels in a few weeks, then we'll see ;)

nope, i think the lips that fit 86-87 are 4g accord lips, and 88-89 are 1g teg lips

i thought those bumper lips would fit. i was going to get one from the junk yard but they wanted something like $40 for it. i went back and it was gone though. i think those were just on the EX and SE or special edition, didnt matter which badge. maybe the 10th anniversary also? and yeah the 1st gen intergra lip fits like a charm.

well the teg lip probably fits on with a little less hassle, but still this one was far from being terribly hard.

Well rejoice 86-87 owners, you now have a new part to scavenge next time yo go to the junkyard, lol.

BTW, though someone should try it on an 88-89, just to see.

Unless you have money for paint, don't do primer. It's a really fast way to make your car look kinda ghetto. Instead, just find some of that gold spraypaint, take out your headlight, and respray it so it 'kinda' matches. That will look much classier than primer.

BTW: What film company? Do you edit or shoot or direct or what? What do you use?

I like the way that looks, I have an 88, but i'd like to try and see if that lip fits.

IMO, it looks good. it's a pretty sedate lip, but it's definately noticable. very nice cheap mod.
