i got rid of my hatch today

pleanty money down the drain.

i dont feel so bad that i got this nice ass coupe that i can use all the shit from that hatch on there. this morning i removed my aftermarket power sunroof and s2000 antenna. i also took the rear tail lights. got my 5spd pedals, clutch cable, and a few other misc things off it. everything else went to junk.

I agree. But that's why he got rid of it. He came to his senses and realized that swapping taillights and headlights is for the lowrider crowd, not the people who want real driveable kickass cars.

since it was just a shell,I'm certain they already crushed it,it's probably destined to become a toaster or rebar or something. Am I one of the only ones still sticking to their long term projects? I mean seven years,I have to agree he just didn't have what it took to finish it. there were still good parts on that hatch,you know what those rear windows sell for? and all that rear window trim,a lot of it isn't available anymore. out here hatches are only seen once in a blue moon. they just don't exist. he should have given it away,someone on here would have taken it. :chainsaw:

i still got the motor i was building for it, and the sidedrafts, and the aftermarket wire harnesss. the hatch will not go out in vain, just wating to find another with a better body/undercarrage

I'm curious, what made you stop halfway with your hatch project at the time when you had it painted and stuff? Lack of funds, interest or something else?

Was the conversion made up only from bondo or something like that? Because if that was the case I can understand that you didnt want to bother selling it, but if the bodywork on it was completely straight and legit work, I'd have chosen to sell it on ebay instead man.

It looked pretty nice on the pics anyway.. I really like the lude headlight conversion that a couple of people have done so far.

well cory's car has better looking rims, (im sure mini cooper rims are expensive) better paint for orginal paint, and almost no scratches or dents. abe's car look great on the outside but has chips, scuffs, and cracks on the paint. but then again abe's car wins with performance. sooooo they both have their things man. plus yeah mr. accordresto. you have to see the cars in person to be able to judge. :D in this case, pictures are worth shit.

If your putting a lot of work into a car thats mostly custom and is unique then who cares if its slower then others or what other people say, you can't go to pepboys and buy performance parts for the 3g like you can a civic and thats the best part and it doesn't matter wether its a sedan, coupe or hatch they are all the same, they are 3GEEZ. If anything i said sounded ignorant i didnt mean it that way at all, i hear crap all the time about people not liking my car but i wont stop working on my car and continuing to make it better just because of what someone says. The best part about the car is that its unique, so then can say all they want because i don't know anyone who has the car i have with the same work i've done and the things im going to do in the future.
