I doubt it highly since the F block is much larger than a A block. Beside where would you be getting an F20 from somewhere outside USA. I don't believe it was ever sold here.

f20 as in the dohc vtec f20b performance motor for the accord? it's possible, but you'll have to convert obd-ii. you'll also have to do practically everything custom. you'll need custom motor and tranny mounts, custom axles, custom shift linkage, etc. the money you spend putting in one of those, you could probably turbo your a20 twice. so basically, unless you just want to do it to say you've done it or you're getting the motor free, i would put it on the "not worth it list." because the motor itself is pretty expensive because it's a bit rare compared to other motors such as b16a, h22a, etc.

well actually, if i remember correctly, the f20b and the h22a do use the same mount points. so in theory, if you have one, you could have the other with little work to the physical engine bay

If *I* remember correctly, the F20C is actually the engine from the S2000, and is more similar to a K-Series than anything else. I believe the engine to which you are all referring is the F20B. Available in the 6G Accords in Japan.

well, there actually have been several guys who pop up every other month or so with that idea. the farthest i've seen anyone get was with those drawings that one guy did w/ a20a1.

Unfortunately... The original F20 engines never made it to the US. The F20C was based on this engine at first, but the design is completely different.

F20A1: 90-93 Accord (JDM) SOHC 16v 140hp @5500 rpm OBD-0 or 1
F20A2: 90-93 Prelude (JDM) DOHC 16v 160hp @5500 rpm OBD-0 or 1
F20B: 97+ Accord euro- R DOHC Vtec 16v 195hp @6300 rpm OBD-2
F20C: 01+ S2000 DOHC Vtec 16v 240hp @8200 rpm OBD-2

The swap, like any into a 3g accord, requires custom mounts and fabrication for the wiring and such.

Good Luck!

You might as well just throw the H22 in there, it's basically the same mount points, about the same HP and you have aftermarket support and oem engine parts readily available.
