Well most of u probbaly have no idea what ive been up too. I must say ive been pretty busy getting parts together and just dont have very much time to work on my car any more. Well today i actaully got the motor in. Had a few problems here and there but whatever.

Here are a few pics for now.

Engine internal mods include:

-custom je pistons 8.5-1 c/r
-stock rods (shot peened, balanced, micropolished, etc)
-stock head
-arp head studs

I am having a few problems here and there but i hope nothing too major. The engine sits pretty high on the passenger side for somereason. I think its because i have the mount filled with polyuerethane up the ass and wont let if settle down any lower but i doubt it will affect anything. But it does look like with the b18 intake manifold that its going to hit the hood. So i need to figure that out too.

Also the clutch is scaring me again. I had to take all the slack out of the cable just to get it to start to have pressure?? It worries me because this is exactly what happend before and i was never able to figure it out with my old setup.

UPDATE!! New pics..................

Its a 6 puck sprung clutch specialties from mike on hmt. But i hope its fine because i have all the slack out of the cable and it still seems really really loose. But i guess ill see what happens. Umm the arp part number ill have to check for u. I think they were from a 99-02 mazda miata 2.0. Someone posted them on here awhile ago that they worked so i will see what happens.

hey man just a hought on the tranny? did you make sure the throw out bearing was it proper like not upsidedown? Its a pretty valid question. Ive done it before. The other thing is make sure the pressure plate is the same thing. Im not saying lsd motorsports is a bad pplace but i think they could do some extra resurch in out older cars. Ive asked and got some mis information from him. Once the plate is compressed its trash(im not talking about the typical function but if the t.o.b is too close and it smashes the teeth they no good no more. Found that one out also. anyway hope this setup works better you. ZMike
