my sister got hit by a mustang who ran the red light and hit my sister doin 45. shes ok now,but it was all very traumatic. her car was a mint 1989 honda accord lx-i.

yeah, thats a nice step up from a 3gee. looks like the car got hit in just the right place that it wasnt too incredibly bad for being hit. what kind of injuries did you sister have? have to be hospitalized? that'd be devistating to have such a nice car and have it ruined. hope she likes that 740i, has the V8 and all.

Dang. Another 3g down. Sad to see such a good car go to waste for stupid reasons. I'm glad your sisters ok. I couldn't imagine having my car look like that. When my brother got in a little fender bender in my car I nearly cried. I hope everything goes alright.

I really cannot stand bad drivers. Just yesterday, an old man changed into my lane going 10 mph in a 40(i was going 45) and then just stopped in my lane so he could get into the turn lane. I was sooo close to hitting him, and needless to say I was cussing, honking the horn, and flipping him off. I have to wonder what people think about when driving(or if they think). Its like they want to get in accidents. People laugh when i say driving is stressful, but is the truth.

yea she like the beamer but that 3g was nice. the damages she had were a bruise on her shin(from hittin the bottom of dash or something) and severe seat belt burns/bruises she was hospilaitized only for a day. though while doin mri's and scans they found a brain tumor which isnt cancerous yet but could be.

o btw, this guy who hit her only got in trouble for not being able to control the car, but on the police report they detected alcohol but dint test for it....damn that cop...he shoulda gotten wat he deserved for him running his buddys car thru a redlight

LOL that is funny my uncle works for mazda and across the street they have the kia delearship.....he says that they have good gas mileage...beacuse they are all on tow trucks.... yeah thoes kia's are just recycled american cars

its amazing how she got hit by a heavier car doing 45mph and yet the lxi had a damaged front, the door sils and A and B piller are geometrically perfect and the front windshield is intact. Amazing.

Wonderful car. The V8 engines have their own set of known problems though. There is a wealth of information about these cars on http://www.bimmer.info Also pay particular attention to the transmission service as these cars seem to be very picky about proper maintenance.
