Ok, my car has a weird problem. Sometimes(when it chooses), the car just wants to act up.
On my way to work today(work on Easter sucks), the car started to stutter and run rough when i gave it gas. It idled fine btw. When I got to a stoplight i reved the car and it almost stalled, but then "caught" itself and reved normally. I kept reving it, and the revs would lower and the car would act like it wants to stall, and then the revs would climb like normal. When the light turned green, i tried to go, but i had to ride the clutch because the car wanted to stall otherwise. It feels like a fuel/air problem, like its not getting enough air or fuel. When I floor it, it will stutter for about 2 seconds, until 3000 rpm's, and then it will accelerate like normal.
I had to go full throttle just to get the car to stay at 65 mph. This has happened before. It happened about 2 weeks ago, and we could not figure out the problem. Me and my dad stayed up half the night trying to figure out the problem, but we couldnt. That next morning, i tried to start the car, and it started and idled high for like 5 seconds, then died. I waited about 10 minutes and started it up again, and it idled normally and drove normally from their on.
A year ago, when my brother was driving the car, the same thing happened, and likewise, we tried to fix it(stayed up all night), and could not figure out the problem. We didnt drive the car the next day (the problem started on a Thursday), but the day after that (on a Saturday), the car drove like normal.
In the past week, I have noticed that the "Battery" light blinks whenever I release the brake pedal or turn off the lights. My radio has also turned off sometimes when i touch the brake pedal. I noticed today, when the car was about to stall, that the battery light was on(not blinking, but ON). I dont know if this ties into the main problem, but I figured it might.
This problem is really annoying and all help would be appreciated.
