about to get the ebc yellow pads..anyone have any experience with these?

I was not awair that they had yellows for our car, but I used EBC reds with EBC drilled and slotted rotors. They worked great once I warmed them up, but the pads wore away very quick and the rotors warped after 2 months or so. They definitly stuck like glue at high speeds.

they make the yellows for the 88/89 anyway..I want something with more initial bite than the performance friction pads, and I want something that is easy on the discs..supposedly the ebc yellows fullfill those requirements.
