ok so im going to purchase my whole catback system. well the components and have a muffler shop install it with mandrel bent tubing. you know the basics :D

anyway i was looking through ebay and found this

ebay link (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/86-89-HONDA-ACCORD-HIGH-FLOW-CAT-CATALYTIC-CONVERTER-87_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33629QQitemZ80583472 20QQrdZ1)

i know its just another pos ebay item but might as well ask about it. has anyone used it? if it gets pretty good comments im going to buy one. if not then just keeping my original plan of doing everything with magnaflow (cat, resonator, and muffler).

i would at least find a cheap one that shows the size. i couldnt tell if that was 2.25, 2.5 or 3 inch test pipe.

i only have a high flow cat on my car, but test pipes are great too, as long as u dont have nazi cops who check for that kind of thing. :) of course you could probably use the stock heat shielding from your stock cat if you were worried about it.

yup thats why im going with all magnaflow. im not sure to get a 2.25inch cat or a 2 inch one i think bigger is better but im not looking for noise i want power with a deep tone

I have one of them glorified test pipes off ebay. The bolt holes didn't have the offset on one side. I had to heat up part of my exhaust with a "cherry torch" & twist it to compensate for it. (that is a old school trick)

E-mail the seller & ask them if it has offset bolt holes on one side, about 3/4"-1". If the bolt holes are the same on both sides, then you will issues like I had.

id say no. i had one, you better off welding a stright piece of pipe. but i did recently buy a carsound 2.5" hi flow car off a sponser from homemadeturbo. it was only $45 plus shipping. it should be here on monday so ill tell you if its a quiality piece
