Ok, since I have learned, with the help of all you, that the B18 Intake Manifold will work with our A20 head with minimum customization, But heres the thought, could, and if so, would a COLD AIR INTAKE be hard to make for this manifold?

I was thinking that I could do some welding and get like 4 pipes to come off of that pointing towards the passenger side, one stacked above the other, and then get all 4 to some how become 1 Pipe, but I was also thinking that I could make a RAM AIR intake and use something like the stock air filter and some real planing and thinking to get this to work right, If I could design a caseing around the 4 intake ports that would have my stock air cleaner on it, and have it to where it is only closed when the hood is closed, like a hot rod, I hope your imagining this right, but I think if you guys belive it is posible, that would be a MAJOR Upgrade for performance. Please shed some light on your thoughts, I would realy apretiate it.

Usually when you do a cai for a quad tb you build an air box around the air horns and then duct it to the bumper or some other place where it can get cold air.

Well I just talked to my friend in New Jersey, I'm gonna run RAM AIR and I'm goin all out on this Accord. Now I'm going to have to figure out what to do with all the Vacum hoses that are attatched to the Intake Manifold, Looks like when I find a place that actualy carries that TODA Built intake manifold, I'm not gonna drive the Accord for a while.

Nevermind about that manifold, My dreams were just crushed when TODA Racing just replied and told me that its a B16 Manifold and they don't make it for the B18 Head :(:flame: TODA Racing

several companies make ITB's now. keep looking.

they cost like a grand though.

the ram air is good for them. i would make the normal wide, slim scoop in the hood. then build a 90' turn from the hood down into the TB's with a flat pice cut and place behind them to seal it off. probly double walled for heat. just use some small horn filters for each TB, not 1 big filter.

I think I changed my mind, it is good knowledge tho, but I think I'm gonna stick with the normal high performance stuff, not this tripppy crap

actually, the B16 manifold fits better on the a20a

my carb used to suck in air from behind the firewall (where the wiper hardware is under that black plastic) a setup like that would be perfect.
also there's not much point in using a 4 t/b setup if you're going to use long CAI pipes, that kind of eliminates the point of the manifold(s) in the first place

DUH, thats why I said if I get that setup, I'm gonna go ram air, TRUE ram air tho.

that would be the cowl :p

Well, if the B16 intake manifold fits on our A20A3 head better then the B18, then we can have parts that people say we can't, Just buy an Intake manifold to a Type R Civic.
