I'm gonna have to agree with everyone else's sentiments here, I'm not really feeling the wing, but the fenders and wheels look good. Of course it's your car, but I think it would look better with a 4g spoiler on the back.

Yea those are the fenders from Ebay. Neither side lines up correctly. Cheaply made, but they look ok. That wing has been on my car for almost three years, and no matter what people say, it DOES serve a purpose. Before I got the wing my car would start to vibrate around 100mph, now I can go 135mph with absolutely no vibrations at all. You have no idea how ridiculous it sounds when people come up to me and tell me the wing serves no purpose at all, or it does the opposite on a front wheel drive...just makes me laugh.

ok im not raggin on your car but i do have some questions.

1. why do you need z3 fenders? do they actually serve a purpose? i know that in m3's, sl500's, and aston martins they do but what would it do on a 3g?

2. if you say your car actually runs better with a rear wing/spoiler, why dont you get a stock one. i dont ever vibrate at or over 100mph and i have a stock spoiler. the junk yards sell them for like 10-20 bucks around here. well if you find one. either get one of those or lower it somehow...cuz it does look kinda gay.

3. and does the scoop actually do anything?

4. (this is a comment not a question) and finally..i like your rims but i think it would look a lot better if it had different center caps. probably if you try to match the paint on the rim. the caps kinda takes away from the whole look of the rims!

And somebody asked what the purpose of my z3 fenders were. I bought the z3's to help with my cold air intake which will be behind the passenger side fender. And the hood scoop...I dont know about that. It was given to me, and it will be coming off when I start prepping my car for paint.

I certainly hope your not talking about on the street, I know your not talking about a dragstrip because there is know way you got up to 140mph in a 1/4 mile, but if you are you forgot to tell me where, no use in me getting in an accident cause people don't know how to drive on the road. :)

Edit: Just a little FYI, there is an inner fender wall, the only place for your CAI to come out is below the front of the fender in the bottom of the bumper.

If your car vibrates over 100 mph, then you have maintenance issues in your suspension and/or brakes. It has nothing to do with whether you have a wing or not. I took mine up to 95 and it was as smooth as 35. I do like the wheels however. Look very nice.

man, well my car will go all the way over 100 mph without vibration. i just turned over 130000 miles. probably has something to do with my tires are ballanced and rotors are not warped, my suspension is fairly tight. just a few things that make a large impact on driveability. and seriously when do you go 140 mph, or are you meaning kph? either way, get us some vids man. i wanna see you race that thing. post em up if you can.

Yeah....I hope you and your "club" arren't street racing. What engine and transmission mods have you done to your car for 140mph???

Don't even bother asking if he's racing on the track. We all know he's not.

If you're driving that fast it better be when it's so late that there's not a soul on the road when you inevitably fuck up and kill yourself. Because eventually you will have an accident. And you will die from it, there's no walking away from an accident at those speeds, especially not in a car without airbags.
