Is there a list anywhere of what cars wheel's will fit directly onto the 3G. I saw some really nice wheels on a few Acura Legends, and other unidentified Acuras at the junkyard today, but I didn't know if they would work.

Mostly what I'm looking for is any set of wheels that will be easy to find, at least 14" in diameter, and be at least a little wider than the crappy stock 5.5" width.

dude you should get some Acura integra rims or some Civic Si rims. i got a integra fat five rims...they are 15inch and its a 6 inch width...the car handles way better now with some kuhmo 195-55-15 tires. it also looks good on our cars since they are OEM rims...since i did not want to put :rice: rims on my car...well they have: Mesh, fat five, blades, SI rims, they are all 15 inch its not too big and its not too small

The only remaining concerns would be offset and the hub center bore.

Dude, this soooo needs to be stickied or added to the FAQ section. Please any admin do this, seriously this would stop lots of dumb questions, lol. Almost every forum I've ever been to has a list of what rims will fit the car in question, so I highly recommend putting this somewhere where it can easily be found.

BTW, thanks a lot Bones, you may be a new member, but this contribution I'm sure is appreciated by many of us ;)

hey so i put some 98 or 99 ford escort zx2 wheels and tires on my 89 accord lxi. They bolt on just fine. But i was curious if there was anything else i needed to be sure of. I dont want them to fly off. there is some vibration and before i paid 40 bucks to try and rebalance all the tires i wanted to be sure i wasnt missing something obvious that would cause them not to fit. thanks

as long as they bolt on, the bore in the middle is big enough for the hub, and they don't touch anything else you should be good to go.

If the hole in the center of the rim for the hub is bigger than the hub, itll vibrate, or so says a mechanic i worked with. Something to consider.

ok jsyk the escort wheels do not fit without boring out the center,,, which i do not know how to do. so it looks like i am going a different route
