I know someone a while back had installed one from I think a 92 Civic, just wondering how that is holding up. And if anyone has gotten other ones to fit with little to no modification. I'm ok with drilling holes, etc... but I don't have a welding machine so welding is out of the question.

while i've nver tried myself, all i can say is get to a junkyard with a tape measure. works every time if you can get to a junkyard.

hmm.....I just wish I could find the person that had used the Civic bar and find out how it's working out. That would save me lots of headache ;)

you would have to make a lot of hacking to make it fit.
There is one strut bar almost fits but you still need to cut the mount and reweld it (make it a more of an angle).
After that i think you have to drill new hole.

heh, I love that "weld"

I don't know why people even mention that......how many of us here have a welding machine? Probably like 2 out of 5000. (not trying to be rude to you shepherd, but it's true ;) )

kinda like saying stick it on a lift.....heh, yeah right.

(sorry, just a little pissed right now because I can't find a lift anywhere in town to use for like 30 minutes for something)

Anyone ever tried JB welding one? Now that is within reach of the common man.

jb weld wont hold it together for long. even if it managed to hold it together it wouldnt stop the chassis from flexing. sorry bro

On a more positive note ...

MattsAccord had a sticky thread in the marketplace to sell custom made rear strut bars and branched out to start building custom front upper and lower and rear upper and lower bars.

I think he stopped for a while to concentrate on schooling though.
