Well I kinda like it, but at the same time the popup just make the car look good. I know the paint doesnt match, it is because the legend picture was not as high of resolution. I DO NOT PLAN ON DOING THIS, I am just curiose what people think.

yeah it does look good. but its going to take lots of skills and time. plus why do you want to mess with the honda 3g front end...the japanese knew that flip lights were unique since its the only accord that has them...so far

Theres acually been several cars that have had flip ups.

And dude, i kind of like the look of that. It would only work on the hatch.
Are the dimensions doable?

Actually i don't plan on doing this, I just wanted to see what peoples opinions were. I am 50/50 on the way it looks.

P.S. Jester that is my neighbors stange that he has had since he was 16 (now he is 61).

Imagine the possibilities of a legend front end...

Just... Ew.
Our hoods come up to much to match with the Legend headlights, and it looks even worse on a hatch. I know you're not planning this swap, but to anyone who's thinking "Hey, I wanna try that" no. Go buy a Legend.

speaking of legends, yesterday i had to push one on to a tow trailer after the stering snap and the driver and his wife were both def so when we asked him what the prob was he just grabed the wheel and it spun like it wasent attche d to anything, it was quite funny cause aparently they had been trying to get it on the trailer for like 2 house and it only took me like 15 mins to get it done

P.S. Jester that is my neighbors stange that he has had since he was 16 (now he is 61).

maybe my math is wrong. waeent the first year of mustangs 65. if he is 61, and had it since 16, he has had it for 45 years. 2006-65 = 1941. that mustang dosent look like a 1941 to me

actually wasn't the first mustang a 64-1/2, lol, still doesn't acount for the like 20ish years

Try 2006-45=1961. Still too early, but the 20ish years are a little exaggerated. HE wasn't even born in 1941.

taking the flips off a 3g is a sin and im perfectly willing to post up against anyone that would do that. haha j/k. But for real the flips are the shit.

I Think the ONLY other front end the belongs on that would be a CA Accord Front end. But I'm a Flip Up man!

I would like a Legend dash like in the JDM 1985-1989 Accord Vigor

I was going to at the beginning of summer, but I went into the Acura dealership to buy some parts and the service manager hired me on the spot. Then my current job gave a $2.00 raise to stay and work there, so I guess I am staying for the time being.

flip ups>*. You could try a legend rear end conversion, that might look cool on a sedan

Selfmindead
05-04-2006, 02:44 PM
That looks quite cool, not sure if it would be worth it, it doesnt look good enough to go through that much work. I love your car with pop ups :)

05-04-2006, 03:00 PM
eh, your car looks pretty darned good the way it is LM....I wouldn't mess with it too much. Besides, I agree with these other folks....the flips ups rok. The Integras are cool, no doubt, but the Accords have more style.

I think its kinda cool, I like the shape of the legend fenders, they have a nice buldge to them, however like you said I would never go through the trouble of doing that conversion, cuz pop-ups look so damn good.,

i'm diggin the 7th gen chop. short rear looks good, kinda of like a CL rear if you look at it. legend front does kinda look like an XR4Ti, but i'd rather drive the chopped legend front than the merkur if it wasnt for being the XR4Ti is pretty quick. 2.3 turbo for engine, pretty much the same as the T-bird turbo coupe.
