tapping sound

hey i noticed that i have a "tapping" sound i notice the frequency of it changes as the rpm's are slower or faster wehn im not moving, could this be rocker tap? and does anyone know what the specs are for re-torque'n stuff liek the springs and rockers

take the valve cover off and check the valve gap. if it is too big you will hear tapping all the time.

yeah i had the same prob....if u got a gauge filler regrap all our valves and your straight...once i did it , everything was fine

yah i was wanting to know whats the gap? seems it might be causing the hesitation when i try revving the engine , seems allmost like a stumble slight misfire , if anyone can get me the specs ill have my father bring home the tools from work
