is it safe to drain the freon out of your ac, whast the safest way to do this?

ppl say u cannot drain it into the air cause of the CFC in it. only the licenced AC shops have equipment to suck the drained freon out. u just let it escape in the air, u got not a lot in the system anywas right?

so do it in the air and don't smell it and don't keep eye or skin contact ! :D
