Well i was on my way home from work going about 40mph when i heard bang and my front wheels locked up and blow a hole out the back of the trany:wtf: when that happen i hurt my back when i was jerked in to the steering wheel:Owned: what a bad time for this to happen:thumbdn: now i need to go buy a trany just to take it out next month:thumbdn: to do my b20a swap:violin: This is One Bad Day

sorry to hear that man. same thing happened to me last year, tranny cracked like an egg. i was only going about 10mph though. my car jerked really bad and stalled, then i looked behind me to see a big puddle of oil and my pinion gears lying on the ground.

same thing happened to goldy's accord several years ago. :( too bad...

wow that sounds serious...i should be more nice to my tranny. by the way you all replyed sound like it hapens...hope it does not happen on my auto trany

what the hell causes that to happen you guys...? I assume that can happen to a prelude tranny too huh?

Wow I am sorry to know such a thing happened. That sounds scarely if that happens when I am carrying my family. Is there any know reason for this like high milage / super high power engine / lack of t/m fluid, etc?

Is this a maintenance item? Where exactly is the pin?

in the diff, it holds the spider gears together. I havent broken one yet. I also dont do one legged burnouts either

That was not my B20a that was my A20 the trany and motor are toast:Owned: The pin came out of the differential and it got folded the pin like a taco:huh: and when it locked up it flatened the rod barings on 4 and 2 so the motor knocks:rant: i will have my B20a in tomorrow:cheers: I will post pic's:) Untel then Cya:Owned:
