Yea, it will fit with no modifications, its a direct bolt on. Everyone has done it, it adds like 350 whp. Just search and you will find out everything you need to know.

you should try that new Hemi Ecotec one, ive heard that helps out a lot, and redline starts at around 8-9k rpm not sure, but it bolts right on.......

and one of those swirl things in the intake makes the vtec so much more powerful and adds another 20 whp.

no there is no head that will bolt to an a20a block besides another a20a head.

you can't make it work. it is too diff things. If you take both head gaskets you will see how much diff they are.

if you want vtec, just stick a type R sticker on. It adds 10hp, if its yellow, it adds 15

hey dont get all offended. try asking that question at H-T...

certain things get brought up a lot around here, and we just get short with people when answering, because we get tired of explaining the reason for the same stuff over and over. this is one of the topics that KEEPS getting brought up, usually by people who havent searched or dug around on the board. now im not saying you did or didnt look, but we are just sick of the question.

and it is a proven fact that yellow and red vtec stickers add the most hp. :D

admittedly they cudve been nicer, but sometimes the best love is tough love. Sometimes the search function is a bitch, but if you use it some, you wont get people bein rude to you.

Please use the search function in the future and read through all the stickies and Howto/FAQ's before posting somthing that may already have been asked. The administration here does not tolerate noob bashing, but on the same note we like to see our members take the initiative and do there research before asking for help. You have your answer so I"m going to go ahead and lock this thread before it causes any more trouble.

Uhmmm you guys... There is a motor out there that has a V-tech head on an A20 block... I remember seeing a write-up about it about 5yrs. ago.. The guy wanted to try and see if it would work---he actually got the motor running....

I believe I know the one your talking about, no one ever saw pics or vids of the motor and he claimed that he was eating through timing belts. I don't think we ever saw any real proof. Steve I think, knows more about it.

The guy you are referring to surfaced about a year or 2 ago. But once he never posted pics, he got flamed hard and I think he left.
