ok after taking my headliner out of the car several times it was shot,I got lucky,I found one at the yard out of a sedan in almost perfect condition, I have to cut it down and modify the rear trim to fit the hatch, and some of my modifications like the dome light and the overhead switches, but it's not too bad. I also found a set of sunvisors with no rips or tears, and they just need to be cleaned. it's that standard light grey color honda uses in most of the cars, but it's too nice to recover,it matches most anything I believe. I also found three good grab handles out of a sedan. on the hatch passenger side, and drivers side, all you need are some nut plates to clip in place. they bolt right in. on the back, the mounting pads are there, but they need to be drilled for the pin hole, and the metal needs to be tapped at 5X.8 mm for the screws. why in the world they didn't have grab handles in the back of the hatch,I'll never understand. right now I just have a mess, all my overhead wiring and relays are taped in place on the roof. LOL

the duct tape is to hold everything up so it doesn't fall on my head while i'm driving. I got the headliner in today,I measured the SOB exactly the same as the one I took out,and for some reason all the holes were off by a half inch. if I could have found a good hatch one i wouldn't have had this problem, but I could only find a sedan. everything is back in,I'll have to make some trim pieces to cover the gaps around the holes, but the rest of it looks good. my center piece that holds the switches won't fit right anymore,so I need to redo that. and the pieces that go on the a pillars are cracked,so they need repair before they go back in. now if I could find some of those big plastic pieces that go on the rear quarters,I'ld be in good shape. the problem with swapping headliners is the hatch one is tapered towards the back,it's also shorter in length, and the rear trim piece on the edge needs to be shortened.
