it costs more than that to build a cat, so why would it sell for that? get a magnaflow. they cost around $100. they aren't the least bit hard to find.

I call it a resonator. (aka- glorified test pipe)

None of the holes have the offset either to line up to your exhaust pipe. :thumbdn:

yes, he's right. it would require you to have the exhaust pipe cut and rewelded. i would just have the whole thing welded up at a shop with a universal cat. you won't be able to pull it out and put a testpipe back in, but you'll be legal and you won't be killing the environment so quickly.

yes and no. it is the right cat, but you have to have your stock-route exhaust cut and rewelded so it will meet (the stock cat has an offset), and this cat has to be welded in place. neither of these are problems if you're building a new exhaust.

ok so yes on the magnflow one?

i in fact AM doing my whole exhaust which will consist of DC headers and downpipe (already own), magnaflow high flow cat, magnaflow resonator, and magnaflow muffler.

now im going with 2.5 because i dont want to re-do it when i finally get the guts to go turbo. i mean i know 2.25 would probably be ok with a turbo setup but i would prefer to be on the safe side with the 2.5. 3" is just too big to work on na for the moment :D

so this will work right?

yes, that's the one you need, then.
