jus got my accord and I'm in the midst of a tune up. wires,all filters,plugs,fluids etc what kinda things can you tweak with these cars

Well for that price get yourself some nice spark plugs.

New oil filter = 5 bucks
NGK Sparkplugs = 8-40 bucks (depends how good you want them)
New spark plug wires- 25-80 bucks
Maybe a custom intake ? just the filter will be 40 or so, but then you could custom make the piping? or something...nevermind scratch that idea unless you got time and energy to get all the supplys and custom fit it
I tried changing the fuel filter but it was a pain in the ass so i just said fuck it and returned the filter for like 8 bucks
Oh and you could also get some stickers for the windows, those add atleast 2 hp each :lol

get a k & n oil filter (10.00) and some better castrol and pennzoil (5.00 a pop), k & n air filter.

Get an Accel coil, advance the timing, get NGK spark plugs and regap them a bit more open. If you wanna know more about this stuff I've mentioned, do a search on the board and read up on what others have done. Spend a bit of time searching and reading the past posts and you will learn so much! There are a lot of really freaking sharp people on this board! In time (and with a bit of $) your car can really be hooked up!

try a lxi exshaust manifold and flex pipe on your dx,see if it improves horsepower,it should runners look more like headers then dx.
