In light of the old LX getting tired, I've decided to invest in some new wheels with more possibilities. Some of you may call me a traitor, but I've decided to purchase a '91 prelude Si.
For $1000 I picked up the mint condition (as far as body and interior) prelude as well as it's disassembled B21A5 engine. One piston was blown, the block has been honed and re-sleeved professionally. Now I just need to put it together.
So far I've installed: All fuel system gaskets
Water pump
Main and Rod bearings
I also dropped the head off to have the valve seals changed and the exhaust ports cleaned up. I wanted a port job done, but they wanted $700 for it... F*ck that!
Today's prospective accomplishments: seat crank
install pistons/rods
install oil pump
Wish me luck, I have 3 weeks to finish this for school!
