83 would be the next size up over stock. Well, 82.95 to be exact.

Piston sizes are sold in .010", .020", .030" and so on. .010" = .25 mm, .020" = .5 mm, etc.

apparently they sell them in .3mm oversizes also. So there is .3mm oversize and .030/.020/.060 etc too. I just figured this out also steve

Never knew that. Might just be an A20 thing so then when it get's bored, it's an even 83 mm. I don't think they sell that size for B-series.

well actually its like 82.95 i think for 83mm bore. Factory honda oversize pistons are this way, custom pistons can be had either in metric oversize or standard oversize.

To get the right size pistons. You need to have a telescoping gauge & outside micrometer to measure your cylinder bores. (&/or use dial bore gauge)

yeah... what size are your bores? Are you gonna have to overbore again? Need pics and info.

the real question is WHY do you want stock pistons when youve got forged ones??? :dunno:

I would just spend the money & bore the block out to 83 mm to use the JE pistons.
