The original design of these 8 spoke wheel (incl watanabe) is MiniLight Magnecium wheel in 60's and cooper used them for their mini-cooper. So hell yes, it looks great on the mini. I personally think the second option Helium might suit to your beautiful coupe - our car is bit newer than those 60's, 70's car. Minilight (or 8 spoke) wheel with small offset for FR cars (deep cone like the pic of wheel alone) looks very attractive but not so much with the one for FF cars. This is due to the design of the wheel. It is purely my biased subjective unfair bs, though.

personally, i think the mesh rims you have on your car just make the car whole. but, the rewinds are a good choice in a the dark grey metalic color. so if you do decide to ditch the mesh rims, make sure and get something with that contrasting color for your car. makes it look well done i suppose compared to if they were painted silver or a light color.

I'd get the Heliums. They look nice as hell. I think the wheelbase is too long for the Rewinds to get their full effect.

well i was reading a thread on honda-tech the other day (i dont rememeber, not have, the thread name) about the heliums cracking and breaking apart if you hit enough pot holes. so...yeah the ghetto places i take my car to when im doing detective work for work...have shitloads upon shitloads of pot holes man

so i dont know still thinking about this

I agree. If you love your car, then you dont drive over the pot hole at high speed. But, if you do need to do so because of your job, then stay with nice strong Enkei mesh and keep the Helium for special occasion.

::EDIT:: My bad I forgot the beginning of this thread, gfrg88 is right.
