Most japanese motorcyles (ninjas, and similar "crotch rockets") are powered by an inline 4-cyl engine (of a much larger size, but bear with me.) The fuel is typically delivered by ITB injection in newer models, but older ones used 4 individual Mikuni carbs. This fact got me wondering... is there a way that a 4 cylinder carbed automotive engine (like an A-series) could receive it's fuel through these same carbs for a performance gain? Has anyone ever tried it? It could be interesting.
