they sound awesome! unfortunatly i have to go out and by new 6x9 pods to put them in the back. i kinda broke one with the screw driver. it was one of those moments when you put too much force on a tiny screw and fuck something up lol. oh well the 50% off sale is coming soon :D

Purdy.

Any chance you could fashion a rear deck piece to fit the 6x9's without the stock plastic pods? I did it with 6.5's but you've got a bit of extra width to worry about.

well i think the only way you can actually put the 6x9s in without the pods is to cut or bend the sheet metal out of the way for the sides of the speakers to fit in. i know these are way bigger than the blaupunkts so i probably will even have to dremel away some plastic off of the pods for them to fit. its funny how the speaker is actually hard to put on because the magnet almost takes up all of the space that is there for the speakers. and the fact that the magnet is so strong doesnt really help lol.

thanks for all the comments guys.

I didn't even have the plastic pieces for the 6x9s, so i just cut the rear dash a little and drilled some holes and they fit perfect.

hey, if anyone is looking, i have a set of 6x9 pods that are just sitting here. someone told me that they wanted them AGES ago, but i never received payment. they're maroon, but can easily be painted black.

PM me if interested.

good stuff, man. are they better than pioneers? bc those are what i have now. but i had to dremel away my pods to get them to fit.

yes, infinities are MUCH better than just about anything pioneer puts out. their REV series might honestly compete with the infinity kappas, but then you have the kappa perfect line.
