try pick-a-part. but before you do that, see if anyone still wants the shell. the people around here get mad when someone sells a hatch shell to the jy and they were wanting one. lol. but yeah, yellowbook some jy's and just call them and ask them.

well all you have to do is call them and tell them you want them to pick up your car. they will go to your house, look at it and give you a check for what ever THEY think its worth. it sucks but thats how most of them do it. then they'll just send a tow truck to pick it up. :(

Ecology seems to be the company that gives better bids on the cars. i know pick a part will only try to give you about 150-250 for a car. with ecology ive gotten about 300-600. of course it depends on the car. but im thinking that a 3g might be worth 300 for them.

anyway look up ecology i think they're really close to you. i know that every time i call them to pick up a car it takes them about two hours to get to my office because they're around riverside.

good luck buddy

i will. tomorrow. I don't have class until 2 pm. :-) Unless I get more interest in parts soon, it may go to the junker pretty quick.

what kind of body damage do your cars have? and do you have to tow them in? or does the jy pick them up?

well most of the cars we get the high bids on are the ones that look like cheeseburger's old car. i mean some dont have bumpers and shit others have few dings and dents but mostly they're fine and dandy.

When I tried to sell my car to the junkyard they only wanted to give me $150 for it and that was only if it had all parts on it, which I didn't so I said screw it and just parted out as much as I could and had it hauled away. Got a lot more then what they offered me that way.
