urgent: I need to swap my engine, I need ur help

I have accord 88 EX 2L carb. Automatic, and i have some proplems with it so I need to change the moter with the transmission to 1.8L Engine...
I need your help, what is the best motors (carb.) would be berfect to my accord w/o any modification in the mounting or any thing, just to remove the old one and install the new one

to tell ya the truth the best motor would probably be the same as you have now. but since youre going to swap motors, i say get one thats FI and convert to a 5speed you wont regret it

no engine swaps are available without changing motor mounts except the stock accord engines and the jdm b20a. i dont know if there are any carbeurated b20s that would fit.

OK you are right that the FI is better, so what engine can be fit, I've read about the B20 and B18 what do you think...:cheers:

Don't forget that if you put a FI engine in your car, you will also have to change the fuel tank, filters, pump, and the cabin wiring harness, as well as the ECM.

could do the b18 (from the accord, not integ). that's carbed stock. or stick an a18 in there. either one is basically bolt in and run. or another carbed a20.

i have an idea..b20a block b18 head with twin carbs :D.. or u can put ur carbs off an a20 and stik em on da b20 and see how that goes?!?!?!..just an wacked idea i had...

think lower numbers than a carbed a20 for hp and torque, idk about the c/r. the number of valves should be 12v at 3/cylinder. displacement is in the name. 18 = displacement = 1.8 liters.
