yup. If you just bought the dizzy I would think it would be covered under the "failure due to materials/workmanship" clause of most standard warranties.

aw geez.....I think I would still walk in there and toss it on the counter and tell them nicely what happened. A 30 day warranty on a new part is bs.

wow, the B20 distributor is cheap! a new one for the A20 from honda is like $800 list.

don't feel too bad, i paid $230 for a rebuilt dizzy from kragen and i still haven't got one that works right. i've exchanged 4 under warranty and right now i'm waiting on number 5. seems like all they do when they "rebuild" them is clean them.

don't feel bad,I just put 800 bucks into suspension parts, and my steering rack just went bad. also the left front strut,at the same time. also the cyl head, also the carb, also the carb control box,all at once. sigh,I'll get it fixed though,I have enough money in this car to buy a new accord, twice

You may be able to get a replacement by citing "implied warranty". This is basically warranty mandated by law whether or not it is not provided optionally by the manufacturer. So you may want to go the legal route.

Also, is it just me or are all the dizzies very prone to failure? I just don't get it, they cost like the price of gold and can never work right no matter if you buy them new or go through 10 refabs.

Dam these guys are having pispoor luck with thier cars.
I know the feeling, maybe let it set a few weeks and luck will change..
That similar series of breakerages ( is that a word?) happen to me shortly after I got my honda and I swear the car was cursed, fix one thing thing and immediatley something else seem to go. I am starting to thing here yee the dam thing is cursed cause I still love the car and sticking money into it...even though I have two other newer and faster rides, I really rather be driving the 3G.
I would make sure the grounds on that motor swap are good if you keep blowing electronics.
