Hey Im just wondering, wouldnt it be possible for us to somehow convert the timing belt to a timing chain I mean theres no point for such now but I mean if someone has a low mileage car ans since they seem to last really long, isnt there a way to convert, with new pulleys or things?

Short answer yes.

Longer ver. there nothing wrong with timing belts there more accurite(meaning keep your timing steady) and don't wear as much as a chain its why Honda usues them. The new ones go 100k just fine and at least on our cars your pretty safe motor wise if it does break. I carry my old one jic i get stuck somewhere.

hardest part can be getting the bolt off the front pulley rest is pretty easy. First timer Id go 6 hours. 2.5 if youve done them and skip the water pump and oil pump and just do the belt.
