i have to replace the exhause on my 87 lxi hatch, and budget doesnt include a custom setup YET. so dont say anything about it. i can buy a full exhaust (cat back) from the j/y for $25...the only diference is that the 2 hatches that are in the yard are dx's. are there any diference between the lxi and dx piping and exhausts?? searching didnt tell me crap...so yeah.

I believe it's all the same from the cat back. The 88-89 EFI models had a different exhaust manifold but I think the rest is the same.

did it really? i thought it was a difference between just the 86-87 and then the 88-89 had a different one because of the o2's

the cat back should be all the same. the o2 sensors have to do with the manifold, and also the downpipes are different on LXI vs DX because lxi are somtimes 4-2-1 (if its 88-89 accord lxi) and DX is straight 4-1 I believe. also the 4-2-1 cars had 2 o2 sensors. the junkyard catbacks should all be the same though. :) pacesetter catback is universal for any accord, no?

from the catback its all universal. no difference whatsoever

unless its an se-i and then it has a different muffler, but thats it.
