iI finally get my car regestred and every thing so i when i go to start it i get a clicking noise from the starter and it is loud as long as the key in the starting spot it keeps clicking and the light on the dash blink witht the clicking PLEASE HELP!!!:wtf:

Sounds like a dead battery. Try jump starting the car. A failing starter is the next suspect. Hope this helps.

my battery is has 11.59 volts when the car is off when i connect it to the volt meter. and i 4got to add its a 1989 honda accord LX (Carb)

yeah dead battery....just jump it if not your starter does need to be changed

11.59 volts off is dead i thought that is good i know ts suppose to 14.2 vols on is it suppose to be the same off?

dude...just try jumping it 99.99% of those times when you hear the dreaded clicking sound is because your batt is dead. trust me i have fallen asleep many times in my car with the radio on. lol good thing its a stick!

A weak battery may not have the juice to crank the engine over. Leave that voltmeter on and see how low the voltage drops when you try cranking. My money's still on that battery.

Also, the battery voltage will not INCREASE when there is a load placed on it. In fact, the voltage will DECREASE with load.

A good strong charged 12 volt car battery should be 12.7 volts at rest. With your honda running you should see 10 volts maybe more if its a low battery and its trying to charge it.

the 11. somthing volts after charging usually means a dead cell inside the battery.
