Car won't rev past certain point

My car keeps changing the points it will rev to. I'll be driving down the road and it will act like the limiter is anywhere from 3k to 7k. It changes everytime. Any suggestions?

Hows your milage at this point. A simple tune up might help it.

ON the quick I'd look at the distributor cap and rotor button.

one problem i did run into that sounds like your problem was map sensor in the black box.

with it not connected or faulty it can cause this problem.

Ok, I found the problem. I forgot to hook up the ground to the injectors. Thanks for all the other ideas tho.
