I just finished stripping a 82 hatch for autocross. I kept anything that seemed ok and am selling cheap. No drivetrain or body parts but all lights/lenses/door glass/some plastic/wiper motors/seat belts and so on. Also looking for slicks or 60 series tires for this mini rat rod.

What colour interior? I might need all sorts of trim and clips and shit, but probably better off ordering this stuff NOS at the dealer

Oooh I wouldn't go dealer for clips if you can avoid it. I bought like 30 plastic clips for the trim on the outside of my car when it got it's repaint. Cost $400 at the dealer. The parts guy called me Captain Clips next time I came in. :)

The block will remain stock for the first year. This is a LOW buck project to get my kids into autocross. I am making a custom air intake like the old Thunderbolts, dual snorkels from where the lights used to be. Exhaust will be modified, but mostly the suspension will be heavy duty. I am trying to do it all for less than $500 and I am on target.
I used to run a 82 civic when I was much younger and was very competetive as a stock vehicle. Speed is measured by weight vs hp and my accord is now very light.
If anyone has a used header, slicks (or 60's) I would be interested.
