get carb cleaner or wd40 and spray it around the carb and the vaccum lines and if it bogs down or the idle changes then you have a leak.

where ever you sprayed the carb cleaner and it maid the car idle down, that is where the leak is. Use the little straw that comes with the carb cleaner to help you pinpoint the leak.

LMAO, thats why its bogging down. Don't spray it down the barrel, spray it around the vacuum hoses outside the carb.

You want to avoid spraying it down the carb or spraying too much or too wide that the carb could suck the cleaner in inadvertantly. Spray in small spurts in a small area and listen for the change in idle.

another way to check for vacuum line vacuum leaks is by pinching the rubber vacuum lines with needle nose pliers... careful though cause old vaccum linesmay be damaged from doing this.

First off though get a vacuum gauge to see how much vaccum you are pulling. It may also be able to tell you if something is wrong with your engine internally.

that is the vacuum gauge help thread.

Just get a weber or do EFI.

You got about 20 foot of vacuum line on this car son & thermovalves that dip in the pocket book. But yeah, vacuum gauge is the way to go. DO read up on carb threads man, cause these carbs aint no joke.
