the exhaust manifolds for the 88-91 preludes how close are they to the 3geez? pretty close? the exact same? way different?

https://www163.safesecureweb.com/lsdmotor/ProductManifolds.aspx?c=pm

also i was reading the how to stuff for the teggy accord hybird transmission ...the artical said the transmissions are the exact same other then the gears inside them (or thats how i understood it)...if that is true why not just use the teggy transmission instead of the accord one? why go through all that bother of swaping gears? if its not true it should be corrected in the write up...

if this is true (that they are the same) cant we use an LSD for a teggy in our transmission?

That is for a b-series engine on which the exhaust outlets are equal distances from each other. On our engines the two in the middle are close to each other. So no they aren't close to being able to fit an a20....

Yeah dude that is for the B20A

the 2nd gen lude though had the A-Series so you could grabfrom that.

Or do what I'm doing and get an F-Series header and get it modified. I have the MEGAN RACING F23 header. My car has finally been towed so all I have left is the long block to work out port spacing and fitment but the final peice is the CAT placement, which I'll need a new 3G to set that up.

You might want to try making an adapter plate for a B16 tranny and LSD, it's been done befoe so you might want to ask for the specs and price.

The manifold looks nice, too much for me though, I'll have to save forever LOL (damn medical bills and school loans:mad::madflip:  ) I`ll just have to make my own manifold sometime.

Thanks for the input on the header thing guys. I was confused because people pull DC sports header's off the lude's and bolt them right upto the 3G with no problems. I couldn't figure out if the exhaust ports were all the same and the header was swapable between the motors. Guess not.

$750 seems kinda steep for how it looks. The picture is really small and crappy - but from what I can see it looks like Ray Charles did the welding.
Anyone actually have one or have a better picture?

haha and no1 answered his teg tranny question.

the transmissions arent the same, the gears from a teg will fit though. i cant remember which gears from the teg they swap, but i do remember that the accord has certain gears that are better than a tegs, and a teg has certain gears that are better than the accords

alright well i am confused as hell on the hybird tranny how to

the how to makes it seem like you can use the teggy or accord case ...which brought me to my quesion if the cases for the teggy and accord tranny are the same then why not just use the whole tranny and avoid the mess of swaping gears........here is where it says you should be able to use either case

"You should be able to use either the Accord or Integra case. I didn’t try the Accords, but the 85 Prelude case doesn’t work. Its best to use the Integra case though, as funstick mentioned when he saw it the oil holes are huge. It should help keep 5th gear alive. Put a few of the bolts in to hold the case down."

will somebody either correct this in the how to or set me straight or sumthen because its confusing the hell out of me

from what i know. you use the accord case, swap in the 1,2,3,4 gears and keep the accord one. so you can have your mpg on the freeway but be zippy whenever the fuck you want. they teggy tranny wont fit i think.

i believe the teg 1st and 2nd gears are better, and the accord 3 and 4 are better, hence the swapping certain gears. dont take my word on that as i havent looked at the how to in ages
