i have been out of the 3geez loop for quite some time now, however i still have my modded a3. a friend of mine is interested in putting it into his 95 eg coupe dx (his d16 blew). i figured it would be unlikely, but does anyone know of anybody that may make a mount kit or swap kit or this swap? hasport.com is down, i was going to email them for a few questions . . . thanks guys.

i dont think he will be please with the performance unless your a20 was rebuilt...i would stick in a b18 or something...you find more parts for them...dont downgrade(a20) is still got but B series is better

well he says in his cardomain site that he has

" I got my ported + polished cylinder head with a race valve grind, 242 duration cam, ported and polished intake manifold, and bored throttle body.
Other mods include an ACT Stage 3 clutch and advanced timing (damn 93 octane) ." " Rebuilt and overbored .020 by Four Star Engines"

dont even bother with it...either find another d16 and turbo it...find a b18 and turbo it....of find a b16 and build the sht outta it

it'd be comparable to swapping a d16 into an accord. sure he'd have a little bit more torque, but his aftermarket would be basically nonexistant. if he's fine with being a diy guy, then go for it. otherwise, don't bother. just get another d16 since you can pick one up for $150-$200 or go b-series.
