Does anyone know all the A20XX engine codes? I thought that EFI cars always had A20A3 or A20A4 but my block is A20A1. I know my engine was replaced when the car had 25k on it (a few owners ago someone tried running the engine with a really bad oil leak). Could this have anything to do with it? I though A20A1 and A20A2 were carbed blocks. Can someone clear this up for me?

This is from the FAQ....
For 1986:
Carbed engines => BS
EFI engines... => BT
For 1987 to 1989
Carbed engines => A20A1 (America) or A20A2 (Foreing)
EFI engines... => A20A3 (America) or A20A4 (Foreing)
Some early 1987 models have the old numbers due to the remaining engines from the previous year.
