carby backfired again :(

well it happened again, it went BANG and mum says she saw a big puff of smoke come outta the carb but the car stayed running for about 4 seconds and then it just died like it ran outta petrol, but theres plenty in there, i held the accelerator right 2 the floor and then it just died this stupid engine, must be time for a swap :(

any help about this pleeeeeease?

hmm so all that shit thats happening to my car could be cause of my valves? so that could just mean my timing is shitty? cause im pretty sure its a bit too advanced

well before i adjusted the timing the car was acting up so bad, i retarded it by 1 tooth and sat on the starter for about 7 seconds and it started but running like shit then it putted out, so i advanced the distributor and it started but putted out after about 4 seconds as if were running outta petrol. weve been cranking it and it fires like every 3 seconds and quite a bit of smoke comes from the carb, smells like eletrical fault or something but it smoked alot, banged again then it wouldnt start since. any ideas?

got spark in all cylinders but the carb air cleaner has been left off maybe moisture got in the carb? what could i use to by pass the rear fuel filter? like could i use some little piece of metal. i put $10 petrol in (about 4.5 litres) and have had the car running for about 30 mins since (dont think it ran outta petrol, that would be rather shitty) so yeah, i need help :help: becuz i luv you people, i hope you under stood everything i just said
