Bay Area August Meet - SF BBQ - All Bay Heads Represent!

Ok.. lets keep the momentum going and setup a meet for next month (August) in San Francisco. Ideally we could meet up in the afternoon/evening and have a BBQ, though that is all up in the air obviously. Whatever happens, lets get as many bay area folks up in the biatch as possible :D

First order of business is picking the date. It seems like saturdays work best for everybody. That gives us the following dates:

Aug 5
Aug 12
Aug 19
Aug 26

If you'd like to come to the meet just post what weekends are good for you, or which are bad, etc. Whatever weekend works for the most people is the one we'll go with. After that we can pick a specific location

It not that long of a drive from where i am at to long Beach took my 4 1/2 hour's and it takes me 45 minutes to a hour to get the bay area from here.

I wish I could. I can't go. I work all weekend, every weekend until the shows over in September. Where's the BBQ??? Chris (Mr. Eff) and I went to a BBQ in Golden Gate Park back on the 4th of July...we drank Fancy Sangria. Neither one of us have been on in awhile, too busy and less time for Accords. This popular family beach is one of San Francisco's few beaches safe for swimming. Lifeguards are on duty during the summer and there are changing rooms, barbeque pits and an enclosed sundeck. The beach is accessible from Seacliff and 28th Avenue, near El Camino del Mar. Be prepared for a rather steep hike downhill to access this beach.

you know i really like the idea of that lil road that takes you to the hill that struggle posted. you know the one overlooking the bay and the bridge? i've been there a few times before and its freaking nice. you get an awesome view of the city at night and a great portunity for nice pictures during the sunset. great place and its cool to see the old history and jails and shit up there. but no bbq pits. all we really need is to go to a park somewhere that will have pits to cook on and a nice parking lot for some meet pics. then we can stop by that road if yall want. but someone post up some links to places where we can meet.

so ive been thinking of a meet for both socal and norcal members. shit i mean cheese and i are driving way the fuck up there...so why dont you guys drive half way down, we drive half way up and we meet in the middle. like i said in another thread, i went to oxnard yesterday to spend some time with friends and we went to this awesome beach. It took me 2 1/2 hours to get there but it was because of traffic. dude this place was perfect for a meet. it had nice shady areas, great photo opt places. its on cliffs and shit and has some parking lots that are right at the edge of the ocean. fucking nice man. anyway what do you guys think of going there? its a nice beach dude. actually its on the Pacific Coast Hwy. i dunno if it might be a lil out of the way for you norcal guys but its just a suggestion. maybe someone knows of a place better. but i'd really like to have a huge meet with everyone. and i mean everyone like its mandatory. i took some quick pics of the place and ill post them later.

The parking lot is above the beach so it's not like you're going to take the surf right in back of you at about the same level. After your BBQ, you can go to Ft. Point. I/We can show you.
