My A/C condensor fan has started howling (funny thing is my Acura started the EXACT same noise a couple weeks earler) I need to replace the motor. Is it a replaceable item or do you have to get the whole shittin shebang with the fan and shroud/mount? Still works, just a bit embarrassing when it starts its squealing and howling, and I know it's just a matter of time till it locks up anyway.

Where's the best place for parts? (no junk yard parts, I use only new parts for mechanical items.... peace of mind)

The motor can be bought separately, but you can buy the whole assembly through one of the aftermarket bodt parts web sites for around $70 - shroud, blade, and all. I don't know how the quality compares with OEM. I replaced mine last year and so far, so good.

I just repalced mine and I bought it from an autosalvaged parts www.car-parts.com for 75 bucks. Replace it ASAP, your car may overheat if it stops working...it happened to me.
